Mestre Rogério Eng Wong

Wong, Rogerio Eng, born in 18/01/1966 in Santos / SP. He is a journalist and Master of Karate-Do and Kobu, began operations on October 19, 1975 (33 years of practice) in 2004 received the award of the Grand Master Yoshihide Shinzato, the title of 7th Dan Karate - and in 2006 the title of 5th Dan Kobu-Do. It is a Kodansha (Ko = High; Dan = Grade; Sha = personality). It was a direct disciple and a confidant of the Master Shinzato, currently occupies a prominent position on the board of the International Union Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do Federation.

It is regarded by teachers and students of the school Shin Shu Kan as the most complete and skilled in techniques of Karate-Do, especially in the applications and versatility (Bunkai) of Kata Shorin-Ryu and Kobu-Do, for his performance (concentration, strength , rhythm and harmony) in katas with weapons. Since 1998, Sensei Wong is the coach of the Brazilian Kobu-Do Shin Shu Kan. Of the eight world made by IUSKF, Wong won six titles (Hexacampeão IUSKF) in front of the selection. Remember that the 8 th Mundialito / Brazil - 2007 he won the Master class (40 to 54 years) in Kobu-Do, the managements of Bo (staff) and thunk (baton with cable).

Currently, Master Roger Wong is the general coordinator of small schools of Karate in the city of São Vicente, developing a social and educational project for more than 350 children in various districts of the city, promoting citizenship, civility, the quality of life, improvement in school performance, strengthening of family ties and, especially, the recovery of moral values.
